[Grise Heldar]

*Inside of the Forever Fall Forest, or F.F.F as her team started to call it, Grise was hunting once again. It was just part of her weekly ritual. In fact, you could say that she needed it to feel like she had accomplished something. It used to be every day, but the others had managed to get her to settle for once a week, which was still a lot.*

[Auric Kwaku]

And along came Auric, who had hopped on the same ride as Grise (and flirting with her, with no success), but not for killing Grimm; no, it was for collecting sap. His aunt had recently opened a business (apart from the clothing store) as a cosmetic company specializing in creating beauty products using rare plant extracts. Hearing about the properties of the sap at Forever Fall, she messaged him to gather some for her latest creation. Auric, always eager to support his aunt's ventures, no matter how weird it sounds, saw this as the perfect opportunity to contribute. It was also a perfect opportunity to test something he had thought of for a while.

As he walked along with the taller, gruff lady he made his way into the dense forest of Forever Fall, with one of Twin Fang Multi-Arms for basic protection and a couple of glass jars, beatboxing a tune to himself.

[Grise Heldar]

*Saying that attempting to flirt with her was unsuccessful, was perhaps the greatest understatement of the year. It would've been closer to the truth to say that he might've had more luck with her armor than herself. It's not that she rejected him, it's more like she simply didn't understand his intent.
Oh well.
"Jack told me about you. He said you have great potential. I am curious to witness that by myself."

[Auric Kwaku]

"And I would like to see yours with that...coffin. Who's body is in there?"

Auric inquires.

[Grise Heldar]

"None. I would not be allowed to carry anybody's corpse inside, and I would have no interest in doing so anyway. This is merely my weapon."
*She laid it on the floor to open it. Inside, there spikes that seemed to be connected to cannons, but no corpse of any sort.*
"See ?"

[Auric Kwaku]

"Wow.."

Hold on

"What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?" Auric asks, approaching a nearby tree to collect its sap

[Grise Heldar]

"I have no idea. Why this question ? Oh, were you joking about the corpse thing ?"

[Auric Kwaku]

Oh my gods, her brain moves and fuctions like a scroll on slow internet.

"Yes...I was."

[Grise Heldar]

"I apologize for the misunderstanding. But please, I have troubles with jokes and 2nd degree, so at least try to clearly warn me when you're..."
*Her expression shifted from neutral to angrily focused in an instant, as her weapon was suddenly into her hands. She was wielding it like a giant iron club.*

[Auric Kwaku]

"Woah, woah, you alright there?" Auric asks, filling a jar with sap.

[Grise Heldar]

".... Yes. I just though I heard something. Sorry for scaring you."
*It was impressive, seeing her lift that giant piece of metal as if it was nothing. She must be pretty damn strong... Maybe even stronger than Jack.*

[Auric Kwaku]

"Eh, it's alright, just the paranoia talking through you." He empathized

"Anyways, what's a gorgeous someone like you doing here?"

[Grise Heldar]

"Hunting."
*This was all she said as she hanged her weapon on her back. Seeing her able to move normally with something so enormous tied to her was perhaps even more impressive.*
"Not you ?"

[Auric Kwaku]

"Just some...family business."

Auric replies, setting another jar to be filled with sap. He yawns, before taking out his weapon, transforming it into its flyssa form, and practising swordplay against a random poor tree.

[Grise Heldar]

"Don't waste your energy. We will encounter Grimms sooner or later, it will not do if you are out of breath."
*And with those words, she stepped forward, walking deeper and deeper into the red forest.*

[Auric Kwaku]

He sighs, slowing down before thrusting the sword into the tree. He did leave a pretty big mark on it, with sap slowing coating the blade.

Wait...Oh yes, right

Upon noticing the full jars, Auric swiftly grabbed an empty one, activated Weave, wrapped silk around a branch, and swung from it to another tree.

[Grise Heldar]

*She remained silent for a moment while watching his underclassman playing Peter Parker.*
"Interesting way of transport. And I suppose that's your Semblance ?"

[Auric Kwaku]

"Yes, ma'am," he replied, letting go of the string as it dissipated, landing a very familiar pose and getting himself up, giving her a charming smile, simultaneously thinking of a way to scare her.

"And you know what else it can do? If it can get to all of your motor limbs, I can control you, like one of those string puppets." He continued, his eyes gleaming with a mischievous sparkle.

[Grise Heldar]

"Can you control Grimms that way ? If so, it might be very useful when up against a bigger one. I would advise you against using it against someone though, as I'm pretty sure that's illegal and you might get arrested."
*Yeah, made sense why her weapon was an Iron Maiden... It was probably her twin or something, because this girl was impossible to scare.*

[Auric Kwaku]

"I...was joking...I should teach you how to recognize comedy." Auric sighed.

[Grise Heldar]

"My teammates are already trying to do that. Thing is, they act a certain way when joking that I have learned to recognize, so I can laugh with them. I don't know you, so I don't know when you are being serious or not."

[Auric Kwaku]

The boy just sighs to himself as he just decides to end the converstation here. It wasn't even an hour in and he can feel himself getting bored. Looking towards the tree where he had place the jar, he sprints over to them, retreiveing them and dashing to each tree, setting a jar to be filled by them respectively.

After setting the jars, He yawned as he climbed onto a nearby tree, relaxing on a sturdy branch.

"Hey, tell me when these jars fill up, would you? I'm going to sleep."

[Grise Heldar]

"Are you joking ? Because I strongly advise against sleeping in such a place, it would make getting ambushed by Grimms even... Easier."
*Her tone dropped as she untied her weapon from her back. And this time, actual Grimms approached them. A pack of a dozen Beowulves.*
"Will you be alright ?"

[Auric Kwaku]

"Let me see…" Auric quipped as he counted up the beowolves under his breath.

"Eh, under a baker's dozen, I should be fine, and please, worry about yourself not me, though I do feel flattered by your concern," he chuckled, twirling his weapon confidently.

[Grise Heldar]

"Do you like the trees ? If I go all out I might damage or even destroy a few. But if I need to hold back then I'll ask you to help me."
*She said as she lifted her weapon at mid-height, like a baseball.*

[Auric Kwaku]

"Alright, sure, what do you need?"

He replied, jumping off the tree and landing on Grise's shoulder with style.

[Grise Heldar]

"Could you maybe gather them in one point ?"
*She asked, seemingly unbothered by the weight.*

[Auric Kwaku]

"Ok, sounds like a- HUH!?" Auric shouted.

"…Ma'am, take a look at me and repeat t what you just said. I'm not sure I heard you correctly." Auric's heart raced as he waited for the woman's response, hoping for a clarification.

[Grise Heldar]

"I'm asking you if you have a way to gather them in one point. With your Semblance maybe. If not, that's fine, we'll find another way."
*The pack was starting to approach, but they hadn't attacked yet.*

[Auric Kwaku]

"Well, let me see."

Auric pondered for a minute, before noticing the jar filled with sap. In a flash, he quick grabbed it, hopping from tree to tree with great speed as he uses Weave to wrap the trees around the Beowolves, trapping them in a cage of silk and tree. Then, throwing the jar, he quick used his weapon to shoot a fire dust bullet at it, effectively y creating a fiery explosion that engulfed the Beowolves in flames, causing them to screech in pain.

"Well, that was easy. Your turn now."
