The academy gardens, a nice and usually quiet place where the students of Beacon were able to spend their freetime either relaxing or could spend their time in other ways, like meeting up with others or going about their business. Todays sunny weather and almost clear skies were perfect to do the former, at least Vlithra thought so after everything she had done today already.

As one of many new students, the white tigress had to get used to all the troubles and hardships she would have to face when attending Beacon. Figuring out how everything worked, from the time schedule to all the commodities Beacon had to offer, was already bothersome enough and the stress that would come from learning added onto that. In contrast training was no issue for her and she was pretty sure she killed it in todays combat lesson aswell. Now she had time for a relaxing and well earned catnap.

Vlithra wore her usual outfit: Her short-sleeved white shirt and her usual green vest were great for the soft breeze that accompanied the nice weather and her black suit pants and dark green jacket hanging from her shoulder absorbed the heat of the sun she intended to bask in perfectly. The only thing she needed to do now was to find the right spot to lay down in.
And the right spot she quickly found. Vlithra laid down beneath a tree that was almost too perfectly positioned. The sun was at such an angle that it could shine on her body without blinding her face. The heat of the sun would keep her body warm while she relaxed.

With her hands behind her head and her legs resting flat on the ground Vlithra stared at the crown of leaves she was lying beneath of. She pondered: Was she strong enough? Would she be able to achieve what she set out to do? Can she go back to who she was after everything? All of those were questions she thought about daily and never ever got an answer for no matter how hard she thought about it. And why was she even questioning her own strength? Vlithra shook her head to clear her train of thought. Wasn't she here to relax and settle down a bit?
With a sigh she closed her eyes and tried focusing on what was around her. She could feel the grass against the skin of her arms and the warmth of the sunlight was already shining onto her body. The sounds her ears picked up were various, birds were chirping, some students talked in the distance and the leaves were rustling above her when the wind got stronger. In the end she still dozed off into a nice, sun-warmed, nap. If she was to be undisturbed, she would surely sleep for at least half an hour.

It was a pretty nice day outside, the sun was shining and bright in the sky, the Gardens were scattered with a few people this way and that, doing their own thing. One of them, in particular, a girl whom had no business wearing black on a day like today, perched in a tree not too far from where Vlithra lay. Her golden eyes scanned the grounds, watching the comings and goings of people, taking a mild interest in everybody. She'd made a note of the tiger-girl and her cat nap, but found it mostly boring enough to move on to others.

A few minutes passed, and she'd been about to leave, when a couple of jock boys showed up from behind her, and promptly started tossing a ball around, some kind of sports practice with all the masculine connotations this brought with it. She watched in idle curiosity as they passed the ball back and forth, it got at least somewhat interesting when one told the other to "go long." He made a good dash, and in that very moment, Fuchsia suddenly came up with a wicked idea to make this a little more... Fun.

She held up a finger, readying herself, and when the boy finally threw the ball to his friend, she carefully took aim... And... There! She used her Semblance, firing off a tiny, nearly-invisible piece of Aura. It was a good shot, actually, because it hit the ball mid-flight, staining the side of it with a deep purple blotch that made her impish grin get even wider. The pass took a few seconds to find its mark, long indeed, but finally, the other boy caught it.

No sooner than it touched his hands, did it bounce right out of his arms. He fumbled for it, and the ball popped into the air, flying a few feet further. He ran, dove for it, hit the ground, and rolled... Right in to Vlithra!

The poor tiger-girl would find herself nearly bowled over by a large bull Faunus, a muscular slab of meat which had no business being used as a blanket.

This, of course, Fuchsia found hilarious. She immediately burst into laughter, so hard that she nearly fell out of the tree; she lost her balance and rolled backward, barely shifting her tail in time to facilitate catching herself with the crook of her knees. She hung there, upside-down for a second, her arms dangling downward, over her head, but she soon started laughing heavily again.

Ahhh, good times.

The man that had run into Vlithra stood up, awkwardly brushing grass off his tanktop.

"Uhhh... Yo, sorry 'bout that, lady!" he said, before he started to jog away, back to playing with his friend.

Meanwhile, nearby, the upside-down cat girl in a leather jacket continued laughing at Vlithra unabashedly, though it soon subsided to more of a chuckle.

Naturally Vlithra‘s little catnap had to come to an end at some point. The voices of some others students in the distance had wakened Vlithra enough for her to be only half asleep. She stretched her limbs abit and yawned before trying to doze off again. Probably hasn‘t even been 20 minutes yet, she figured.

However fate apparently had planned things differently for her and her nap time, as Vlithra heard something coming closer. Before she could even open her eyes something heavy crashed down on top of her. Whatever it was, it was heavy enough to completly knock the wind out of her lungs, leaving her unable to react or even to comprehend what exactly was happening as her eyes remained closed and her body became tense trying to bear with the weight and the accompanied pain. She didn‘t even recognize Fuchsia‘s laughing during all of this.

Only when her body was relieved of the heavy weight on top of her she would be able to take a deep breath and open her eyes to see who- or whatever was responsible for this. The now wide awake tigress stared at the hulking mass of a bull faunus in front of her. No wonder she was out of it for a second, a guy with such mass would leave anyone gasping for air when he crashed down on them.

True to a beast that was awakened from it‘s slumber, Vlithra was visibly angry. She was furious being awakened from her slumber in such a way, even so much that her semblance unconsciously started to kick in. Sparks of green lightning flew around her body, giving off audible noises of electrical tension, and the grass around the tigress was being pushed away in an inconsistent rythm as an effect of her semblance. Her glowing eyes glared with such an intensity it could probably break a panel of glass.

As Vlithra stood up to face the bull at full height, her fists clenched. She was seconds before launching the bull boy back to his friend in a similar way they were going to toss around the ball they had with them, that is... with a semblance empowered punch to the gut. But in the end it never came to that. Instead the bull faunus excused himself and promptly went back to his friend. Vlithra also couldn‘t help but notice someone laughing nearby, which she made a quick mental note of.

Vlithra sighs in more than just frustration. Her nap was ruined, she was wide awake and not in the best moods as of now. She wanted to punch something, anything really, she wanted vent or at least exert herself in some way to get rid of this frustration and tension that had built up.

First thing she did was to release the kinetic energy she had channeled so far in a shockwave. This basically dusted off all of her clothing and got rid of all the grass stuck on her jacket and hair. She however didn‘t expect to have fueled it with as much aura as she did. The shockwave she emited easily reached the tree she was standing next to and shook it with such an intensity that some branches started shaking violently and let loose some of their leaves.

With that out of the way, Vlithra pulled out her scroll to look at the time. "Just great." she said visibly displeased. Not even 15 minutes had passed since she laid down beneath this tree. She gave a quick glare over to where the laughing came from. There a cat faunus sat upon the branch of another tree, who seemed to be calming down from laughing her ass off. She then looked back over to the bull boy who was now back with his friend.

She was now weighing her options. Should she get bull back for the ordeal or should she just let it be and blow off some steam at the training room. Was she going to take this one sitting down? Vlithra didn't think so as she walked slowly towards the two boys. She had full intention on picking a fight if it came down to it, after all... she had dealt with worse people than the bulky bull.

It seemed Fuchsia didn't have long to enjoy her little prank. By the time Vlithra got to her feet, she looked pissed. The jock boys had gone back to their game of catch, presumably unaware of the fact that a none-too-happy girl looked poised and ready to just about ruin their fun. The smile that had been on Fuchsia's face, and her light chuckling, both together subsided slowly when she realized what she'd done and what might happen because of her.

She could almost hear her sister's voice nagging in her head to set things right before a fight broke out.

Completing her backward roll out of the tree, she flipped and landed on her feet in true feline form, quickly stalking toward Vlithra, before interjecting herself in between the tiger girl and the jocks and their game of catch. She held up a hand.

"Woah there, girlie, hold up a second. Before you go pummeling some poor soul, let me apologize. That was my fault, I was just tryin' to prank the big jock boys but you were kinda... in the way. My bad, dude. If you're gunna be mad at someone, be mad at me, I don't need you ripping someone else's head off when they didn't do anything wrong," she said, admitting her fault in the matter and wearing a face that said she was unsure of what she was doing, but at least it was probably the right call. Her tail flicked nervously back and forth behind her, and she waited to see what Vlithra would say.

There was movement in the corner of the tigresses eye, but she didnt heed it no attention. The only thing important for her right now was delivering some well served vengeance onto those jocks. That is until something, or rather someone, blocked her path forward. It was the cat faunus who was laughing her ass off a few moments earlier. Now that was something she didn‘t expect.

Nonetheless, to Vlithra, Fuchsia was still just a student like any other so she really didn‘t pay much attention to her… up until the moment the cat faunus put herself onto the tigresses warpath. Vlithra actually stopped in her tracks in order to listen to whatever the feline girl had to say to this.
A mix of surprise and doubt hit her as Fuchsia made herself responsible for what happened to Vlithra and her nap. The white tigress glared at the feline and looked her up and down while she explained her reasoning, all the while noting her nervous demeanor.

"Really? Is that so?“ Vlithra answered with a slight undertone of grumpyness in her voice while raising an eyebrow at the feline. She moved her hands into the pockets of her pants, a spark of electricity flying across her face as she looked at Fuchsia. She of all was the one responsible for this?, she thought.
Looking her up and down again she saw a rebellious prankster. Actually she kind of reminded her of another certain prankster girl on a bike now that she got a close up look at her. But at the same time she saw someone who was regretful, someone who knew when to call quits or when it was too much.
People like her were sort of a rare occurence, an honest soul, someone who was actually strong enough to admit mistakes. That was something Vlithra could kind of respect in a way, which is why she couldn't be all too mad at her.

With an exhale, Vlithra calmed herself down, her expression shifting from angry to more or less annoyed. Her mood had lightened at least a bit, but she wasn‘t quite satisfied with the situation. There was really only one question that Vlithra wanted to have answered now.

"Alrigth. Then tell…“ she said as she shifted her weight onto one leg and crossed her arms in front of her chest.
"How are you responsible for what they did? Give me a logical and sound answer and I am willing to drop the matter as if nothing happened. Easy as that.“ she continued in a well mannered tone while keeping her gaze on the faunus girl in front of her. She was sparking with anticipation, literally even as a few green bolts of lightning shot around the tigresses body, signalling that she was still quite moody.

Fuchsia hadn't honestly expected to grind Vlithra's angry stomp to a halt, but when it happened, she had to admit, there might've been something to the whole 'admitting you're wrong and apologizing to make things right again' sort of thing that she was constantly being egged on to do by her psychologist and her guardian. In a weird kind of way, it seemed to be working. Why was she so surprised by this fact? Maybe it was her upbringing. Years of expecting to be bowled over when you got in the way probably did that to a person. Hell, years of pulling pranks because there was nothing better to do is probably what had caused this situation in the first place.

For a moment, though, they stood there staring at each other, until Vlithra spoke her mind, and after nodding to admit she was taking responsibility, Fuchsia listened to what she had to say. To compound on her surprise, the girl was offering her something like a deal. Prove she was responsible, and she'd drop it. Was it really that easy?

"Well shit... I can do that, if you're serious. Here, check it out. They got that ball they're tossin' around, right? Well, I made 'em drop it. Y'see, that's kinda what my Semblance is all about; bad luck don't let you play ball, you dig? I'll show you." Her grin wasn't to be contained as she fished in her jacket pocket and pulled out a big silver Lien coin, which she held up in front of her between two fingers.

"Normally, you flip, you got a fifty-fifty shot, heads or tails. Buuuut..." As her voice trailed off, her Aura shimmered briefly around her hand, and she tossed the coin up into the air. Making a 'finger gun' with her digits, she gave a little "pschew" sound and fired off a small, purple bolt of Aura, which collided with the coin in mid air, staining it with a wispy, dark energy as it came falling back down. She caught it, but immediately it slipped through her fingers and on to the ground, landing in the grass, tails-side up.

"Wups. Things get a little slippery when I do this... One sec." She bent down, picked up the coin, then flipped it again, not as high up this time. She caught it and closed her fingers around it, then opened her hand and held it out to Vlithra. It was tails again.

"And it'll be tails every time, that's Witch Way for you," Fu explained. The coin, which had been shiny and silver a moment before, reflecting the noon sun, was now dark and purple through most of its face, tinged with silver around the edge.

"Makes for great pranks when people are tossin' things around. So yeah, sorry, didn't know they'd take a dive right on to ya or I'd have aimed a bit lower. We cool?"

Vlithra stared inquisitively at Fuchsia until she would finally answer. She brought forth bad luck by using her semblance? Talk about stereotypes. Fuchsia, a black cat faunus, was capable to cause bad luck? Now that was something interesting that Vlithra definetly wanted to see demonstrated, which was why she intently watched as the feline girl pulled out a coin.

Just as intently, her gaze followed the lien coin as it was flung into the air and then hit with a bolt of aura from Fuchsia. The effect was apparently also immediate as the feline girl struggled to catch it, resulting in the coin landing on the ground…
Tails. So, did this mean the semblance caused unfortunate events? Like with how the coin just slipped out of her hands as much as the ball must have slipped from the bulls hands before? Vlithra thought to herself as the only response was a thoughtful, “Hmm.“

Fuchsia then gave it another try and this time managed to catch the coin even. The effect apparently didn‘t just show itsself in mistakes or the likes, but also in the outcome of chance. The result was again… tails. Vlithra deduced it the same moment Fuchsia confirmed her suspicion about Witch Way‘s capabilities to cause negative events. That was also a great name for a semblance which Vlithra didn‘t brought herself to admit. She noted the purple-ish tint of the coin as a sign of it being affected.

Vlithra then closed her eyes to think. Fuchsia might think that the tigress was trying to judge her and her story, but it was nothing like that. Vlithra did believe her and her story no doubt, but was actually more thinking about other applications for that kind of semblance. She highly doubted that Fuchsia solely used it to play pranks on people. Maybe she was able to make weapons jam and cause malfunctions in systems. That could be dangerous, but that made it all the more interesting to get to know this girl.

“Sure thing.“ Vlithra said as she opened her eyes and shrugged at Fuchsia. The tension that had built up all this time for the entire encounter suddenly vanished as if it had never been there. “I did say I won‘t hold it against you, if you explain it all.“ She then smiled at Fuchsia, as if nothing ever happened between them. “So yeah, we‘re good now.“

If she were honest with herself, she'd held her breath a bit when Vlithra paused. The alley cat didn't really like moments of judgement like this, and she shifted her weight from one foot to another uncomfortably, the end of her tail flicking a couple times back and forth. At least she was getting a chance to prove herself and make sure some random jock didn't get his ass kicked. Then again, that dude was huge... Would it have been so bad?

For a moment, her exotic eyes flicked over the girl in front of her, and immediately her people-reading skills were applied. Well... She wasn't completely scary, but something told her that this lady wasn't definitely not somebody to have on your bad side. Tall, fit, and with a temper that apparently came with a short fuse, though she knew she only had this one circumstance to go off of. Maybe she just really hated being woken up? Fu could relate, nothing like a good cat nap. And though it wasn't so blatantly obvious as Fu's tall ears and long tail, the stripes were a good indicator of their shared feline natures. So, maybe the stereotypes were true? This thought was enough to distract her momentarily for her discomfort, and she eased up just in time for Vlithra to decide. She breathed a small sigh of relief.

"Well then, glad that's settled, she said, "The name's Fuchsia, by the way, in case you need a name to yell next time this happens." Her tone was somewhat playful by now, and with one more once-over from her eyes, her grin became a bit impish. This girl was certainly a tall drink of water, wasn't she?

"And who might you be, lovely lady?" she questioned, with a bit of a lilt to her voice to keep it mysterious whether she was or was not attempting a mild bit of flirting.

"Heh, I highly doubt I‘ll be only yelling the next time this happens.“ Vlithra answered, stretching her neck a bit causing a few cracks to be heard and finishing the sentence with an almost cheerful laugh.

"I‘m Vlithra. So you know who to stay clear from, should I be awoken like that again.“ she continued as she grinned at her new feline friend. Or maybe friend was a bit of a stretch? They did just meet after all and on not all-too-good conditions nonetheless.

Still a bit bummed about the entire thing Vlithra pulled out her scroll again, first looking at the time and then tapping around on it, all the while she tapped the ground with her boot. With her as she was, wide awake and moody, she needed to vent her frustration a bit.
Did she have time to hit the training rooms later? Maybe, she thought as she looked back at the feline again with a thoughtful expression on her face. Really depended on wether or not Fuchsia here wanted to stick around a moody tigress or not. She soon looked back at her scroll weighting her options.

Having decided to stick with Fuchsia for now she shook her head once to the side to dismiss the other option she had, putting away her scroll shortly after and looking back at the cat faunus in front of her. She lazily scratched the back of her own neck as she followed up.
“So what now? A bit weird to simply stand in the middle of the garden staring at each other, don‘t you think?“

Fuchsia wasn't sure what to expect. In fact, this scenario was a little bit strange to her for one reason. When she'd first come to Beacon, this was, more or less, the kind of thing she'd expected to encounter far more often than she had. In fact, that hadn't really been the case. She wasn't sure if this was confirmation of her assumptions, or more of a fluke than she'd given the school credit for.

The whole thing felt a little disarming, and maybe a bit awkward. It wasn't helped when Vlithra pulled out her Scroll.

She kicked the toe of her boot at the grass for a moment, unsure if she should dismount now and get out of dodge, or if there was more to be said. The alleycat, though, wasn't entirely unfamiliar with awkwardness. But, perhaps more surprising, Vlithra soon looked up from her Scroll and showed a fair amount of prescience, placing the awkwardness of the situation right into the spotlight and blowing it away with a clean, smooth statement.

"Sooo..." she'd been about to say, beginning to gesture over her shoulder like she'd take her leave, but Vlithra's statement cut her off, so instead she responded.

"Oh thank the stars, I thought you'd never ask. You know what, you're all right, Vlithra. What say you we go hang out and chat someplace less... Erm... Sweaty?" she asked, coupling her question with a glance sidelong toward the two jocks who were working up some heat with their physical assertions. Who knew, before long it'd probably start smelling something fierce around here.

"I know a good spot where we've got the view of the whole place. You like people-watching? Do you smoke? Either that or we could grab a bite to eat. Cafeteria food's shit but at least there's coffee." Fuchsia grinned as she said this, and turned her eyes back to the rising visage of the Academy behind her. She could think of worse ways to spend her time than paling around with a cranky tiger.

Fuchsia‘s proposition to go somewhere else and hang out was more than welcomed by Vlithra with a smile. Well, aside the possiblity to vent some of her frustration, that is. It was kind of nagging at her on the inside, while she tried to not make it noticable to her new fleine friend. She wasn‘t a social butterfly at all, but indeed wanted to get to know new people, get some connections going and similar. Lingering on what just happened would only be a detriment to that, which is why the tigress simply dismissed it.
Not only that, it felt good for Vlithra to have gotten this mess of an encounter out of the awkward phase back into a flow that could be considered ordinary or normal to say the least.

Not a moment later Vlithra had a few things to choose from and a few questions to answer on top. Good, keeps the conversation going while they were going where they needed to be. Amazing view or Cafeteria? The choice here seemed obvious enough.

“Sure, can't wait to get away from these buggers." she exclaimed in a more silent tone, concealing it with a laugh. "Go right ahead to that spot of yours and I‘ll follow you. Never tried people-watching, but who says I can‘t give it a try now?“ she would add with that same smile, putting her hands back into her pockets and waiting for Fuchsia to lead the way. Anything that could take her mind of the frustraiton nagging at her would make this conversation go way smoother. Even if Vlithra usually opted for more active things to keep her mind away from those feelings, giving it a try wouldn‘t hurt. Worst case Vlithra would have to vent her frustration at a later time.

While they would walk, Vlithra continued to answer Fuchsia‘s questions. “Let‘s be real, the food in the Cafeteria ain‘t bad, but it really can‘t compete with what‘s going on downtown in Vale. Just so many better options there, if you have the time.“ she continued, with a more casual tone in her voice than usual, as one of her hands would leave the pockets of her suit pants to straighten out her hair. She then looked up as if she wanted to think.
“Only ever tried smoking once or twice. Never really got hooked to it, which I‘m happy about, but I‘d be lying if I said I didn‘t need something to calm myself right about now.“ During the last bit her gaze wandered to look at her feline companion. She would only realize too late that she unconsciously tried to scrounge a cigar from Fuchsia.

Fuchsia considered Vlithra's words as she started walking toward the buildings of Beacon's main campus. So, she was curious about the rooftop hang out? Sounded like a plan if ever she'd heard one. She remembered her first week here, she'd been up there to get some time alone and cool off after that whole... Explosion she'd had on that other feline Faunus girl who'd pissed her off, only to be doused with a proverbial bucket of water from a certain slick bird girl that she now had a date lined up with.

The rooftop had been where she'd actually met Ax, so maybe it would galvanize another conversation and she could get to know this girl, too?

She jammed her hands in her pockets, adopting a slinking stride characteristic of her cat-like nature, and headed for the dorm building.

"Yeah, the food here's not the greatest, but when you're hungry, any ol' slop will do. 'Sides that, it beats the hell out of growing your own. I'd know. Only so much cucumber you can handle before you go crazy. But, with smokin', I ain't about to make you start unless you got the habit already. No need to give you an addiction and have that blunder on my conscience. You wanna calm down, then I think this spot'll help you right quick with that bit. I'm sure you'll love it up there," she said, leading Vlithra into the dorm building and heading for the stairs.

"So long as yer not afraid of heights or anything," she threw in as an afterthought, shooting a pointy grin at the other girl.

“Fair enough. That makes sense. An addiction like that ain‘t anything to scoff at.“ Vlithra would answer with a shrug, while she followed Fuchsia‘s lead into the dorm building. In contrast to her companion‘s more elegant and feline gait, Vlithra‘s was more solid, proud and mighty, befitting of her tiger faunus heritage.

Vlithra would be lying if she said she wasn‘t excited. She was nigh ecstatic even to see that spot Fuchsia was talking about. It probably had an amazing view if it was as relaxing as she claimed it to be. The tigress wasn‘t even there yet and could imagine herself just napping around there in the warm sun, only being cooled by the wind. On another note, Fuchsia‘s comment about fear of heights was met with a devilish grin and an amused giggle back at her as soon as they took the first steps up the stairs.

“Never have been scared of anything in my life. If I was, I‘d be almost ashamed of myself really.“ She turned her upper body sideways as she skipped a step up the stairs to walk next to her feline friend, almost as if to show off her look. Her voice carried a lot of confidence as she continued. “I mean, could you imagine someone lookin‘ like me being afraid of heights? Because I can‘t.“

“So Fu. What...“ Vlithra gasped in surprise as she realized what she said, interrupting mid sentence. Why did she give Fuchsia a nickname already? Wasn‘t that kind of rude? She scratched the back of her neck in embarrassment. “Ah crap, sorry. Didn‘t mean to give you a nickname."

Boy didn't she know it. Addiction was... A hell of a thing. She'd have been lucky if, in her short lifetime so far, she'd only found herself addicted to cigarettes. Fuchsia had an addictive personality, and she knew it well, it was hard enough not to chug tons of soda or stare at her phone for six hours without blinking. The moment she'd smoked her first cancer stick, she'd never stopped long enough for it to matter. She'd say it wasn't fair, but in reality she'd made the choice herself to start in the first place. Couldn't fault anyone else for it... Besides that, there were plenty of people that had offered to help her quit. She'd never even bothered trying. Maybe she'd have to, now that she was going to be training all the time?

She threw occasional glances back toward Vlithra while she spoke and they walked, giving her more than one little sideways grin with the way she was prattling on about herself. Well now, that all sounded familiar. This girl wasn't too far from her own ego, but there'd be more than enough time to play catch-up and talk herself up later. After all, nobody was more awesome than she was.

They were nearing the top of the stairs, and her head turned when Vlithra said her name.

"Hm?" she hummed in response, but the tigress immediately cut herself off. Then, she had to laugh. The girl looked shocked or something.

"Awh, you ain't the one that gave me that nickname, been there for ages," she reassured her, her eyes narrowing as she took on a somewhat haughty pose herself, stopping at the doorway at the top of the stairs. Coupled with her wide grin, her face looked quite feline and exotic with the expression she was making.

"Pretty much had it all my life. No sweat off my tail, use it all you'd like." As if in response to being mentioned, her tail swished about behind her, and she pushed the door open, stepping out onto the roof. From way up here, the breeze was much more apparent, and the sunshine above, plus the fact they were so high up now, made the wide open blue sky above them bright and vivid, causing Fu to blink a few times while her eyes readjusted.

"Welcome to my prowl," she said, gesturing around. The spot was a large platform with guard rails situated in the middle of the roof of one of the dorm buildings. From every side, one could see quite some ways into the distance, and in particular, far off toward the edge of Beacon's cliff, on the other side of shimmering water, there sat the skyline of the City of Vale, silhouetted by angle of the sun. In the other direction was the campus, sprawling across the verdant green grasses, smaller buildings situated amongst larger structures such as the Tower and the Amphitheater. Some of the view was blocked by the next dorm building over, but otherwise, it was just as great of a view as she'd promised. Up here there were a few benches, and two vending machines, one for drinks and one for snacks, and they'd even installed a stationary cigarette-catcher so people didn't leave their spent butts lying around.

"So, what'd'ya think?" she questioned, placing both hands on her hips.

“Then don‘t mind if I do.“ Vlithra breathed a sigh of relief knowing that Fuchsia didn‘t mind her little slip up with the nickname. She felt good if she didn't have to bother with formalities, but even better when she could just adress people more casually.

Stepping out of the door onto the rooftop, Vlithras eyes had to adjust to the sudden brightness due to the open blue sky. When they did however the first thing she took notice of was the gorgeous view. She could see both the campus as well as the Vale skyline. Fu wasn‘t overhyping this place at all, this was a great spot. The tigress already felt the stress that had accumulated before being carried away as she took in a deep breath of fresh air, the sun warmed breeze making sure that every last bit of it got out of her. Next thing the benches, a perfect resting place to nap on in the sun.

“Well damn Fu, you weren‘t kidding. This place is hella good.“ Vlithra let out an approving whistle after having gotten a first impression of the place. She definetly could see herself crashing down and relaxing here if she ever had too much stress but no time to hit the training rooms.

“Yup, definetly feel better now.“ Vlithra asked after she deeply inhaled and exhaled one more time. She then went right ahead to lean with her back against the guard rails and letting her arms rest on the railing, looking around one more time. Oooh, the vending machines seemed to have all the snacks and soda brands Vlithra would need to make her naptimes up her time up here even more relaxing. That or freshly brewed tea would also do nicely.

Fuchsia took a moment to watch Vlithra's reaction to her little haunt, noting her pause while she looked around. Ah, so the tigress liked what she saw? Well, as far as catnap spots went, this was where it was at. Up here, she wouldn't be prone to the antics of jocks getting pranked by punks like her, and not only that, it had much better access to the sky above than one might get under a tree. Less shade, though, but that was the only con, she supposed.

Either way, that reaction was what she'd been hoping for. It was always fun to make people excited.

"Good, I'm glad. Hope this makes up for that little accident earlier. Now if you need a nap, you'll be nice and safe all tucked away up here. Plus, it's just as awesome at night. You can see all the stars, that crazy moon of ours, and of course, the city lights out that way," she said, inclining her head toward Vale off in the distance. She slinked by Vlithra and went to the railing at the edge of the roof, leaning against it facing inward, and pulled out a cigarette. With a quick flash of a flip-lighter, it was lit, and she took a drag then crossed her arms and left it settled between her lips.

"So, V, what's your story?" she questioned idly, "Last time I seen someone lookin' like you was back in Mantle on the streets. Big dudes bustin' heads and collectin' protection money, ha. We gave 'em a wide berth. Not good messin' with the Mistrals. No idea why they were there. Us urchins might got the chains and studs too, but the real difference is we were always dirty and cold and those guys looked well-fed and clean as a whistle. Mm... Cops left 'em alone most of the time too. Damn bootlickin' bastards... Eh, what was I talkin' about? Oh yeah. So, where you from?" She took another drag of her smoke and blew it out at an upward angle, the cloud of light grey rolling up between her ears.

While Vlithra followed Fuchsia gaze to Vale her feline friend got a smirk as the only answer as she elaborated on the places scenery during the night and such. The tigress was pretty much fully sold on this place being her new hangout spot during lunch breaks. It was just too good not to. Maybe stargazing could become a new hobby as well.
Not many thoughts later and Fuchsia got herself a smoke and asked the question of questions. All the while elaborating with a little story.

Now this was something entertaining, as this was a certainly intertesting story. Not only did Fu seem to hail from the street life of Mantle, but also encountered Mistrals that seemed to fit the textbook definition of a criminal thug. And on top of that, from what she was telling, they were pretty deep in with authorities even. What a surprise. Vlithra knew only a few organisations that could span their influence over there and those weren’t weak contenders. It was always amusing hearing this kind of stuff from outside of the organisations ring.

“Geez Fu, I know I don’t look like the most upstanding citizen, but come on. Don’t compare me to those guys, will you?“ Vlithra‘s reaction was unnassuming, or rather sarcastic, aside her scratching her neck. After all Vlithra was used to being accused as a criminal. Might be mainly because she actually was one. Vlithra had to chuckle a bit in response.

“Clean as a whistle, my ass.“ She scoffed looking away from her feline friend for a moment. “Pressing protection money out of people is only the tip of the iceberg of what they do. The darker stuff just happens below the surface and rarely gets to the public. I would know, because I’ve dealt with those on several occasions. Mistral was my turf for a long time after all and those guys aren’t exactly scarce there either. And while my looks would say the opposite, I am not one of them.“ She continued, hoping that any questions that Fu might come up with were relatively easy to answer.

“I earned my living in a legit way. Used to work for a security company. Surveillance, bodyguarding, guard patrols you name it. Hell, if a club needed a proper bouncer, they’d send me since I had a reputation among the locals.“ Vlithra would spread her arms out and boast with a proud grin on her face. Her intimidating appearance was her game during that time after all. On the streets she was easily recognizeable and most people would treat her with respect as it was appropriate. Those who didn't would quickly earns themselves knuckle sandwiches on the house. Of course the only reason Vlithra was able to do the ass kickings she did, was because she wouldn’t need to face consequences as she was working on Seiryú turf. But she didn’t need to mention that.
“Troublemakers would see this get-up and know that if they tried something funny there would be hell to pay. Of course there would be those occasional fools who’d try anyway, but I would leave them off the hook after serving a simple beating. There really was no shortage of action in those shifts…“ She paused to contemplate on what she had said so far, debating on whether or not she should add on to that.

“…or my life for that matter. Busting up those thugs can become life threatening very quickly if you’re not careful. Become too much of a nuisance for the guys higher up and you become a target. Had to do some loan sharking for them at some point so they wouldn’t immediately go for my head. At least I got good Lien paid up front from that so it was all good in the end for me.“ This was sort of the truth, albeit a tad bit changed. Being part of the Seiryú, Vlithra was backed by her family, however not by the entirety of the syndicate. It really didn’t help that some higher ups wanted her gone for her outright stubborness and refusal to, well, do bad. So sometimes she had to do them some favors to keep them docile.

“Anyways, with how you are saying it those Mistrals had the authorities tight around their finger over in Mantle. Must have been backed by some powerful people, if that was the case.“ A part of Vlithra was debating whether or not those goons were working for the Seiryú, but ultimately dismisses the thought as she couldn’t figure that out without additional info.

From where Fuchsia was standing, leaning on the railing as she was, her back was to Vale, so the natural place for her eyes to rest was on Vlithra. She watched the other feline Faunus while she began to speak, but pretty quickly realized that she must've asked the right question, because the girl didn't give a short and simple answer. Well, it was unexpected, but Fuchsia was up for a little story time, so she leaned a little to the side, put her elbow up on the rail, and rested her head on her hand, tilting her gaze a bit sideways.

She watched with interest, and listened intently, trying to pick apart what she was saying. So, this girl was from Mistral herself, she had done some less-than-reputable things in the past like beat up locals as a bouncer, but not necessarily anything directly criminal? Fuchsia wasn't sure if she was buying it or not, but she gave Vlithra the benefit of the doubt, because her own personal experiences with Mistrali people was limited to run-ins with street thugs and enforcers back in Mantle. Surely, that wasn't the only type of person that existed in Mistral, right? She was, however, well aware that the criminal underworld of Mistral was very far-reaching and influential, so she had a hard time believing that a security company wouldn't be at least in some way touched by that. Maybe Vlithra was one of the lucky ones and managed to avoid the darker side of Mistrali life?

Still, she could sympathize with the struggle that this whole thing implied. She knew very well how easy it was to end up in a hospital bed prior to some kind of brawl, she'd had it happen a couple times herself. Luckily, the hospitals in Mantle understood that patient privacy was important, and she'd never been turned over to the cops... Although she'd ended up in jail a couple times anyways, just thankfully not while she was injured as well.

Her golden eyes remained focused on Vlithra throughout her little monologue, a light smirk coming across her face when something she'd said reflected similarly in Fuchsia's own story. She realized though, when Vlithra was almost finished, that she hadn't learned the answer to the real question she'd wanted to know. Plus, she wasn't really sure how she felt about this... It always made her feel weird when people casually talked about violence. Hell, she'd almost punched a guy on an airship recently for doing exactly that. He probably didn't know that she was an inch from shoving him out the door mid-flight at the time, though. She liked to think she was at least a little skilled at hiding her dark thoughts.

"I'm sure those thugs were the enforcing arm of some criminal syndicate with ties to the Atlesian nobility or something ridiculous like that, but for a lowlife such as myself, it was never really a priority to find out. But, yeah... That all sounds about right for Mistral, from everything I've heard. Surprised you were on the other side of the fence, though, I half-expected you to tell me you used to be some kind of crazy criminal running high-profile robberies or some other such crap. Cat-burglary feels more commonplace than it probably actually is... But ya know. Although, that does make me really curious, maybe more than I already was." She leaned back on the railing and stretched her legs out in front of her, getting in a good pull to loosen herself up a little. She leaned her head back and looked up at the sky for a moment, then her gaze fell back downward and back to Vlithra.

"So yeah... How 'bout it? How's a big strong girl from a security company like yourself end up here, at 'The most prestigious Academy in the World?' I'm sure there's a story there too. But before you answer, I might as well tell you a little 'bout me, too, yeah?" Her voice had emulated some kind of slogan ad campaign when she mentioned Beacon's title. She gave a little shrug of her shoulders, then another puff of her cigarette and she straightened her back a little.

"As you can guess, I'm a street rat from Mantle. Used to do... a lot. Bad stuff. Not good things, pretty much never good things. It uh..." Fuchsia let the shame show on her face a little bit. She'd been encouraged to talk about this stuff a little more often to the people around her by her psychologist, something about it 'helping her come to terms with the change in her life' or some other sack of shit.

"Well... To put it this way, when you're a kid on the streets without parents, there's only so many options you have for your future in life. Drugs, thievery, cons, all that shit... That was me. I guess there's a lot to regret there, but I also try to not beat myself up about it. So that's why I'm here, at Beacon, call it making amends for being young and stupid. Figured I'd take what I learned and apply it a bit more... proactively? Do some good for a change. Got clean and sober, got scouted by a Hunstman, and bing-badda-boom now I'm here. How about you?" Of course, this was a completely huge oversimplification of her process for coming to Beacon, but she didn't feel like it was necessary to get more detailed than that. Once she was done speaking, she finished her cigarette and tapped it out on the rail then flicked it behind her, curiously watching over her shoulder as it fell down to the grass below, then looking back to her newfound friend.

A criminal syndicate with ties to nobility. That idea seemed about right for the once criminal hot shot that was Vlithra. With the reputation they had in terms of corruption in the underworld in wouldn‘t have come to her surprise if what Fu just said would be true. Also made sense that Fu didn‘t stick around to find out about that stuff. In her shoes as a street cat, Vlithra would have stayed away as well. It‘d be too much trouble. Vlithra responded only with an acknowledging nod.

As Fu mentioned her hunch on Vlithra being a crazy criminal, the tigress had to scream internally a bit. No expression of discomfort or nervousness on the outside, but a deep inner feeling of tension. It was uncomfortable with how close that description hit home, aside the crazy thing of course.

“Alright, first thing. Mad respect from me. From stray cat to Beacon student? Thats one hell of an upgrade if you ask me. Congrats on being here, Fu.“ Vlithra smiled at Fu laying a hand on her shoulder as she congratulated. As much as she wanted to know more of the circumstances and ways Fu used to get to Beacon in the first place, that topic could be discussed at another time when both where ready to tell more of themselves. She withdrew her hand form her friends shoulder to not invite her personal space more than she has to.

“As for me, weeell... lets just say my motivation ain‘t exactly the most noble. You at least try to amend for past mistakes. I however, can hold quite the grudge.“ Vlithra‘s eyes narrowed threatingly, before they quickly opened again as she scratched the back of her neck in an awkward manner. She then went away from the guard rail to get a bit of distance.

“Honestly it‘s... very complicated. Gonna have to tell the full story another time if I want to make it undestandable. Quite the tale if you ask me, but I‘ll try to sum it up.“ She wasn‘t quite content with her story telling. In fact, she didn‘t like telling others the ‘very vague cover version‘ of her story at all. Maybe because she didn‘t like lying to people, but trying to cover her criminal past outweighted that feeling quite a bit. Besides, she didn‘t want to cause a scene or even worse a panic if someone would hear that. Also, Vlithra wasn‘t quite easy to open up, especially about those things. It would need quite the circumstance for her to even consider telling anyone her true story and origin.

“You see, when I said I tried keeping the higher-up‘s cool, I have to add that I was terrible at it. Probably was because they frequently wanted me to off some people. Like, straight up beat people to death! Obviously I had none of that, so I started offering alternatives. Only worked a few times. Eventually they couldn‘t stand my stubborness and decided to put me out of business… permanently.“ Vlithra glared over to Fuchsia as she gestured slitting her own throat with her thumb. As this was a very simplified version of the story it didn‘t really live up to the clusterfuck that actually happened. Vlithra shuddered a bit as she remembered her limited time in purgatory. Chained against a wall, refusing to eat and drink to avoid getting drugged and wrestling against her chains to make it all the more so difficult for her assailants to use their torture devices. Remembering those crude ‘things‘ they called tools, lightning sparked around her body as her semblance expressed her boiling hatred for those guys and her frustration of not knowing who was responsible for that mess to begin with. Hell, her face even changed momentarily to a more serious expression as she gritted her teeth. She quickly remembers to calm down, but the feeling lingered, as did her active semblance.

“Only reason I can stand here right now is my semblance awakening just in the nick of time.“ Vlithra raised her hand, clenching it to a fist, where the sparks of green lightning gathered and discharged shortly after, giving off a light gust of air around her hand that lets Vlithra‘s hair wave in the wind. Her eyes and stripes glowed as they usually do during this short display and her jacket lifted ever so slightly from her back.

“I‘m simply here on a quest for vengeance. Noone gets to threaten me and live happily ever after, if you get what I‘m saying.“ Vlithras look was serious, dead serious. So serious that if she told someone she‘d run through a brick wall they would be convinced she‘d do it for sure. “WHy a huntsman academy you may ask? Thing is, what I noticed in all that time was that only fully fledged huntsmen are really capable of doing anything against those syndicates without any serious repercussions. So I applied here at Beacon. Aced the entrance exam and boom here I am.“ Only things left now were graduating and not being found out, but she couldn‘t straight up say that.

Fuchsia quickly realized that this was becoming a 'but wait, there's more!' moment, for no sooner than she'd finished her own side of the conversation, it seemed something she'd said had brought it out of Vlithra again as well. While she accepted the congratulations sincerely and with a smile, offering a small 'thank you' in return, it was everything that followed that simple gesture of kindness that had her sincerely confused, a little offput, and growing a fair bit wary.

The cat was, if not anything else, a capable holder of secrets on her own. One of those secrets that she kept to herself was the fact that she was more than capable of figuring shit out on her own, in a sense, she was a lot smarter than she let on most of the time and her wisdom from the streets of Mantle genuinely served her well. Unfortunately, this was one of those moments where it began to do so.

The first clue she received was the way that Vlithra spoke of her former bosses. Higher-ups. They wanted her to kill for them? No matter which way she spun it in her head, this was some serious shit. In her mind, this didn't point at anything Vlithra had done, necessarily but it did tell her one thing: whoever her boss was, they weren't just a simple payman what had hired some muscle to bounce the fools off the front door. No... If they'd ordered her to kill before, there was a reason. A removal of witnesses, probably?

Her smile was gone while she listened to the rest of this, instead replaced by a steely, cool expression, not breaking anywhere to show externally what she was feeling. This was getting uncomfortable. Still, when Vlithra continued, she realized why. This story was starting to sound a whole fucking lot like her own. And then, Vlithra's emotions got in the way. She became agitated, she started speaking with her emotions, and it seemed she'd let slip some very important details, perhaps on accident. The biggest word that had been dropped had the hair on the back of Fuchsia's neck standing on end. Syndicates. Holy fuck. This chick wasn't just some regular ass bouncer off the Mistrali streets, she was a muscle!

No, wait, that wasn't right, nor was it fair. Vlithra wasn't a muscle, not anymore, she was a mark now, same as Fu. She moved away from the railing and walked over to where Vlithra was, waving one hand in front of her and summoning her own Semblance. Her flesh turned a deep purple, and wafting energies flowed around it, smoke-like in appearance but trailing off into the air. She did this specifically so she could get close to the electricity, when she came near it was almost as if all of the lightning went toward her hand instead of her body, dissipating harmlessly amongst her cursed Aura. But still, she placed her hand on Vlithra's shoulder for a second, repeating the gesture she'd given her before, but let her hand slide off a moment later, a look of concern spreading over her exotic face. Her eyes were narrowed, serious, and she stared cooly at Vlithra, though it wasn't any harmful intent toward her.

"Do yourself a favor, V," she said, her voice stern, "And don't mention this to anyone else. You're lucky I'm the one person in Beacon who probably understands what you mean, and believe me when I say, I can read between the lines. But this should stay between you and me. If the Beacon staff found out you're a mark, they would certainly flip their shit. Believe me, I know, because I'm one too. They only know what they need to know from me. But listen to me, V, this place isn't what you might think it is right now. This Academy isn't... It's not about revenge. I know what you're probably feeling right now, but you should reconsider. You have an opportunity here. Sure, you could go through training, become powerful, kill your masters, do whatever it is you want, take over, burn the flame, make the ones that made you suffer cower before you, take everything you want, but..." She had to stop for a second because by now she realized her own fists were curled up in balls and her nails were biting her skin. Ow. This whole conversation had become something she hadn't wanted it to be, but that was just how life went sometimes. She fought against her own anxiety to say her piece.

"But you've got a choice you could make. Either you walk that path of gray and blood, or you stop perpetuating the suffering now, and you turn around and take the road less traveled. The signs are all here, pointing you that way, man. I'd know, I had to read them myself. You don't have to be that person anymore. You can be... someone less obsessed with it, somebody who buckles down, pulls themselves up by the bootstraps, and actually changes. For the better. You're at Beacon Academy, V, this is the stuff of Heroes. Why return as a conqueror? Why not return as a savior? Do you get what I'm sayin'? Does this make sense to you? Fuck, I don't even know if I took my own advice on this one, but... Let's just say there's an entire police line up worth of men I'd like to see in an early grave. But will it change anything? Will it make me feel any better seeing their broken corpses, their home destroyed? Would it even bring h-" she sputtered, stopping mid-sentence. No... It wouldn't change a thing. It wouldn't bring her back. That path of anger and vengeance had only one end to it, and it never ended in satisfaction. It was jail, the hospital, or death. It was an addiction of the soul, just like drugs were an addiction of the body, and feeding that flame was the fastest way to make it explode. She took a bit of a pause here to calm her boiling blood a little. This whole situation was shitty all of a sudden, she felt so triggered she was about ready to just walk away, but the girl she saw in front of her was not unlike looking in the mirror. This was why she was here, to help people, and hell, she hadn't expected to have to help somebody in a similar situation to her own.

"Look, all I'm sayin' is... Let the past go. Your revenge won't save yer soul, won't undo what's been done. You know what will, though? Helpin' people. Changin' the world for the better. If those men what did all that shit to ya is still out there, doin' it to someone else, leading others astray, well... Them's the ones that need your attention. You don't have to get rid of your grudge to avenge it, that's not what I'm saying, what I'm sayin' is that if you go back for the right reasons, you might actually get some closure for yourself. Move on. Become something better. But if you let your fire eat you alive yer just gunna end up no better than that which bit you." She sighed, finally feeling herself calming down a little, and she ran a gloved hand over her hair, pushing her ears back for a moment and letting the motion stretch them out a bit while they sprung back upward. Always felt nice, calmed her down a little more.

"Anyway... Hope that made sense. We can talk about it more if you want, but... Shit, that whole thing makes me anxious... Feel like I need my meds again, so soon too," she said, then moved to take a seat on the bench nearest Vlithra.

Vlithra realized only waaaay too late that her tongue had slipped in the storm that were her own emotions. She had used some words that would have better been unspoken on Beacon grounds. That realization was visibly written on her face as she stared at Fuchsia, eyes wide, as the feline carefully put her hands onto Vlithra‘s shoulder. Her body tensed up again as she saw concern in her feline companion, the tigresses semblance betraying her desperate attempt to get some space by channeling more of the volatile kinetic energy. This was it‘s core purpose afterall. Creating breathing room. It was more than surprising that Fu could even come as close as she did and at the same time Vlithra was glad she did without flying away suddenly. Whatever she was doing, she was somehow cancelling the kinetic force, which was something that only seemed to unsettle the tigress even more.

Vlithra could retain her composure more easily as Fu swayed the topic towards something else, the fact that Vlithra was a ‘mark‘ as she called it. Vlithra was lucky, Fu was so far the only one who had ever gotten Vlithra to speak about her own past like this. And not telling anyone? Vlithra was already pretty sure the Beacon Staff knew of her past. Like why wouldn‘t they? It was waaay too obvious. Resident hot shot vanishes for mutiple days, data slates wiped completly clean as if they never existed, and then a similar woman shows up in Vale only a few weeks later? Really didn‘t need a detective to figure that one out. The only real sense of relief Vlithra got out of this conversation was the fact that Fu was in similar shoes. The rest was... annoyance? It was something about Fu‘s speech that ticked her off in some way. Was it her talking about revenge not being the right thing? That one sounded like it would come straight from her would be uncle. Vlithra made her way towards the railing to grasp it tightly. She stared down to the ground beneath, the lingering hatred rising back to the surface as if to claw its way up the building to her.

The path of gray and blood. Gray was the pathway Vlithra and her family have always treaded. The way between the extremes, or in lawmans terms the path where there is no right or wrong. Where laws clash with morals. For Vlithra this path was never bloody. Not once has she killed another and not once has she beat someone who didn‘t deserve it. If anything, someone had painted it red and made her responsible. And this… yes… angered Vlithra, but not to the extend that she would paint over the red with the real thing. She wasn‘t that far off the deep end… yet at least. But it would be a lie to say that it wasn‘t tempting.

The stuff of heroes? Here Vlithra almost wanted to laugh, but she didn't feel like laughing. With how far she knew the rabbit hole of criminality went there was no saviour that could fix what was going on. World was far off the deep end for that. Besides, Vlithra simply was no saviour.
That aside, what Fu was saying was true, however it only was so because thats what it was. The cold hard truth that nothing can change the past. Fu even herself seemed angry about that as she almost slipped some important words herself, which Vlithra couldn‘t help but notice. Much like her feline companion she got a hunch on what was going on. H…? Him? Her? Vlithra knew Fu must have been dealing with terrible loss.

“I get what you are sayin‘ it‘s… just not how it works.“ Hatred was rising again, almost at the railing of the building as it grasped to take hold of the tigress only withheld by her semblance serving as an outlet for her emotions. She shook her head slowly trying to clear her thoughts again. Vlithra‘s stripes, hair and eyes flared up in green again as green lightning shot through and around her body one more time making her emotions more than evident. Vlithra clenched her fists around the steel of the railing, her hands only empowered by the effects of her semblance. The metal groaned in strained agony as it was enveloped by the green lightning and bent away from Vlithra. She was slowly calming down, her voice not angry, but tense. Her speech not a rant, but facts.

“It just gnaws at my soul knowing that they are still out there committing atrocities by the thousands while thinking they are untouchable. There's got to be some retribution, right? And if authorities won't do it, I will.“ She let go off the railing to face Fu sitting on the bench. The metal construct was bent a little bit, like a bump, away from the person standing next to it. The tigress slowly made her way towards Fu on the bench, her voice remaining calm despite the obvious display of anger. “It‘s fucked and you know it as much as I do. Hell, you have seen it yourself. They really only get a slap on the wrist for what they do. It‘s just not right. It‘s…“ Vlithra sighed in frustration, her semblance finally letting up as she finally managed to get a clear head again. It wasn‘t that what Fu said didn‘t made sense, it‘s just that it was conflicting with what Vlithra knew and it really messed with her head. She felt a huge migraine coming up, because of this. She needed an outlet ASAP and she wasn‘t going to wait to get one.

“...ugh… I don‘t know. My heads hurtin', so I think I'm going to head for my room. I‘ll catch ya another time, Fu.“ Vlithra slowly walked towards the door to the staircase down form the rooftop, as if to wait and see whether or not Fu still had something to say. God, Vlithra felt awful now. Way worse than when she was angry at the jocks from before. And the seething anger still hadn't fully settled. Maybe she should head for the training rooms first to blow off some steam?

Fuchsia had seen demonstrations of other people's Semblances before, but this one took the cake by far. She had no idea what exactly was happening there, but whatever it was, there was sheer, raw power in it, and it kind of scared her a little. Luckily, though, Vlithra seemed to be controlling her anger just fine, but she still had to wonder. It put her a bit on edge. When the girl finally felt like talking again, Fu listened, her ears turned forward, trained on the tigress so she could absorb everything she said.

Maybe Fuchsia's beliefs in this whole idea, the concept of getting rid of vengeance and replacing it with justice, maybe it wasn't the best way to think of things, but it was her way, and it was slowly becoming more apparent, slowly becoming the driving force that kept her wanting to do this. It had been a whim, a farce at first to take Dargo's offer to become a Huntress, but as the heat settled from her suddenly-returning anger, it was starting to cool off and become a delicious baked pastry that would be all too good for her to swallow.

Vlithra finally stepped away from the railing, and she lifted an eyebrow, noticing it was bent. Shit, she was strong! She'd be lying if she told herself that that wasn't kind of attractive... But such thoughts were common and there wasn't a place for them here, not right now. Flirting could wait.

The alleycat nodded in understanding as Vlithra expressed her anger over the fact that those who'd wronged her were still out there, in the world, doing exactly what they'd done to her but to others. She felt the same way about her own aggressors. They'd get what was coming to them, though... Either by her hand or by others.

"You'll get yer shot, V. Jus' keep your head on straight," she found herself saying as the tigress walked up to her and then away, and she watched her go.

"I'll talk to ya later, V," she offered in parting. Of course this encounter had went an unexpected direction, and left a sour taste in both their mouths, but... It had been good, for both of them. Fu had been reminded what could become of her if she didn't give herself a proper minute to think. She stared at the bent railing while Vlithra left the roof. She'd meant what she'd said. They'd talk later. It would've been unwise for her to just leave this alone, she did indeed feel like they were something of kindred spirits, or at the very least in a similar enough position that perhaps, maybe, they could help each other dissect or examine these issues, come to a mutual understanding. They could be friends, bond over this.

But the way the railing was, bent away from her like that... She wondered what it'd take to bend it back into place.
