The Galeforce Gambit [Private w/ Kinto Boreas]

[Ahia Seiryú]

It was almost midnight at the outskirts of Vale far away from the city. Ahia stood at the agreed upon extraction point with a small assortment of her family‘s men and her body guards already assembled and waiting for this operation to go down. They were in somewhat of a clearing, far away to the south of the city, near the mountains. They had cleared a path through the woods and brought multiple transport cars containing several coffers suitable for transporting large amounts of dust.Ahia looked at the scroll mounted to her wrist, it was almost time.

Orochi was already here, or rather, Ahia had already slipped into her role as Orochi as she could be seen sitting on a tree stump. In addition to her usual equipment she had what seemed to be two curved swords hanging from each hip. This was an aura construct created in the image of Brahma, the bladed bow and first in her collection of trophies. She deemed it the only weapon invaluable for this operation, so she made sure to make this construct as stable as she possibly could.

Ahia could be seen staring at the sky a lot this day, despite it being a very cloudy day. She had looked upon the movements within the dark mass in the sky with constant peeked interest when they arrived here. She muttered, “It seems like a thunderstorm is coming.“

[Kinto Boreas]

The first lightning strike came down in the distance, as Kinto stood on the ramp of the Guide, the cloaked airship was hovering a few hundred feet above and away from the gathering point, a loud slurp followed the rolling of thunder as Kinto gazed at the gathering of vehicles and thugs alike below him while sipping on the last of his coffee, the floral pattern mug, one of the few leftovers of Emilia he still kept, most of them had to go to make more space in the Guide, but he'd make sure to keep this mug along with many other things of his dearly departed, he finished the last drop and carefully placed the mug in a drawer nearby closing the door gently before locking it.
With a deep breath, Kinto grabbed his helmet from nearby and put it on, the helmet clicked with the suit and with an exhalation of pressurized air fully closed itself off, the HUD came alive and with the familiar jingle of the atlas military, he really needed to patch that out.

Then, he took one step forward and off the ramp he went, thrusters on his suit ignited and Kinto soon made his landing in the clearing, a few feet away from both Miss Seiryu and Orochi, he dusted himself off, having kicked up a little dirt, he ignored the reaction the sudden arrival of a fully armed and armored individual like himself would surely rouse from the gathered thugs and instead strode over to his co-conspirators of this operation.
"Good evening, I see everything on your side is ready and set in motion Miss Seiryu, how are you fairing Orochi?"
He spoke, turning from one woman to the other in order.

[Ahia Seiryú]

Ahia feels Kinto landing near her, her hair flowing in the wind from the pressure. She knows her men will be weary of such a sudden entrance so she raises a hand to them, a silent order for them to lower their weapons. Orochi stands up from the stump, her ponytail, exiting the back of the helmet, also swishing in the wind. Orochi was about to speak up when Ahia interrupted her.

“Good evening. An extravagant entrance as always, Mister Boreas. Preparations on our side are complete. It lies within you two‘s disgression now to engage the airship and bring it here.“ she answered, looking to the two of them and knowing well she had cut off Orochi. Orochi sighs defeated. “I‘ve prepared myself accordingly.“ she only answers, a bit of frustration in her voice.

“Well then you two. It seems like you‘ll be operating in the midst of a thunderstorm as well. I take it that won‘t be an issue… right?“ she asked her voice sultry with a tint of a challenge.

“It won‘t be an issue to me… if anything it should cover our approach better.“ she retorted.

[Kinto Boreas]

Kinto shrugged, he was being very nonchalantly about it.
"I agree with Orochi, the thunderstorm seems like a major advantage compared to clear skies, flying under the radar will be a much easier task given all the disturbance."
He assessed as he took to calibrating his gear for a more bumpy ride, his engines were strong enough to fly against the wind current and his armor was also isolated against any lightning strikes, that was him covered, yet he could not see anything on Orochi that would let her ascend to the height of an airship.
"I can fly, yet what about my companion? No offense, but I do not think we should rely on your ability to jump to reach an airship, unless you'd want me to give you a lift?"
Kinto was a tad confused looking between Ahia and Orochi, this part of the plan seemed to have slipped his mind.

[Ahia Seiryú]

Ahia giggled, clearly amused by Kinto‘s comment.
“No need to worry. You will be provided with a reinforced bullhead airship for this mission, flown by one of our bravest pilots.“ she explained, the pilot in question standing near the ship in question. “They will bring you close to the ship, allowing you to enter the airship either through a maintenance hatch at the belly or dropping you off onto the open deck… depending on how daring you feel today. So no need to carry our dear rogue here.“ she finishes with a sultry tinge in her voice, looking over at Orochi who Kinto can guess is rolling her eyes based on the motion she does with her head.

“I‘ve studied the schematics of the ship interior thoroughly and found that the maintenance shaft leads to major areas within the ship. I can fit with ease… though I‘m not sure about you and your armor.“ she explained, shooting a look at Kinto behind her helmet. “Either approach is acceptable… unless you have another proposal?“ she asks, a raised eyebrow beneath the helmet, interested if wether or not Kinto had already thought of another approach.

Kinto looked over to the pilot, who did look competent, but Kinto was not one to rely on others if it wasn't entirely necessary.
"I will fly the ship instead, no offense to your crew Miss Seiryu, but I trust my own skills more than any other, especially regarding the operation of atlesian aircraft."
He looked over to the ship, the bulkhead was an older model, but that was better, he preferred the older models they were built more for reliance than the dick measuring contest currently happening within the atlesian military.
He then turned to Orochi.
"As for our approach, I propose a pincer attack, you are correct in assuming that my armor would prevent from navigating the maintenance shaft which is where I will drop you off, I'll proceed directly to the bridge afterward."
Kinto raised his left arm, the console built into his armor displaying a hologram of the bridge.
"There are a few loose ventilation panels under the bridge, I can use them to directly access it and take out the pilots and their comms station, this way the rest of the crew will be non the wiser, then we reconvene in the command center to attack the main defense force of the vessel, without the comms to alert them we should have the advantage of a surprise attack, then we can pick of any stragglers one by one."
Kinto closed the holographic projection, looking at Orochi for any feedback.

[Ahia Seiryú]

“Hm… very well. I trust in your judgement and capabilities.“ Ahia offhandedly comments on Kinto wanting to fly the ship. To her it didn’t matter much.
“No objections from me.“ Orochi remarks with an anticipated snarl. She actually was excited. This was going to become the most thrilling experience she’d have since coming to Vale and it had her elated.

“Then I suggest you two head out right away. At 2:30 we will reconvene back here and get to work unloading, even better if you are early.“ Ahia comments with an almost teasing tone in her voice. This prompts Orochi to do a head motion that suggest rolling of the eyes as she then goes toward the bullhead and enters it. The pilot meant to fly the ship previously simply shrugged and then strode to the side to make way for Kinto.

Kinto simply gives a quick shrug towards Orochi.
"Roger that m'am, we'll do our best to be punctual."
He said with a polite bow to Ahia, before then finally turning heel and marching to the bullhead.

Quickly climbing into the cockpit of the craft which, while less spacious than the Guide's still had plenty of space to fit an armored individual, Atlesian design philosophy had changed very little in that regard especially with most of the controls being front loaded as to avoid inconveniencing someone wearing pauldrons or other pieces or armor limiting the movement of their arms.
Kinto felt pretty much right at home, as with the press of a few buttons and the pull of the stick the craft came to life and began to gently hover a few feet of the ground, as Kinto was punching in the directions he did a few real time adjustments, shutting down certain systems that weren't needed and especially those that may trigger a response from the radar, as with a slight yet noticeable improvement in speed did the Bullhead fly off.

Kinto first started gaining altitude, using the storm clouds as cover, as previously mentioned, the magnetic disturbance would allow for him to approach even the bridge basically unnoticed.
The craft of their interest soon came into view, a sizeable aircraft, easily a few hundred meters in length with powerful engines that were tearing apart the few clouds that existed at the lower altitude it was flying at, a few escort ships were also present, smaller craft even smaller than the Bullhead Kinto himself sat in, they would not dare approach the storm clouds, a fact that Kinto would knowingly abuse.

Kinto jammed his gauntlet into the controls of the bullhead, as with a flicker the voice of the Guide could be heard speaking, a feminine voice that despite coming from an ai sounded pretty much human.
"ID recognized, welcome Doctor Boreas, how may I help?"
"Guide, commandeer this craft and take the courses I set, also, create temporary ID "Orochi" clearance level 1."
"Understood, registering new ID, starting course."
The engines flared up again from the hover they were previously in as Kinto himself left the cockpit.
"I will take my leave here, your new friend should fly you to the ventilation shaft and then return to the care of Miss Seiryu, let's try to reconvene in T minus 3 minutes in the corridor detailed before, till then!"
Kinto hit the switch next to him opening the side door of the ship which promptly jumped out, engaging his armors stealth function and flying towards the bridge, he made without a hitch as he quickly pulled his sword to start working on his way into the bridge.

[Ahia Seiryú]

Orochi enters right after Kinto and as the Bullhead flies away, Ahia had taken a seat in a nearby transport car. It was only a matter of time before the Bullhead would leave the area. "Let's see what you can do... Boreas." she chuckled within the car. Ahia then simply sighed a she dissipated into nothing, the construct made null as the maximum range of her semblance is reached.

Orochi in the meantime was carefully casting glances at Kinto through the cockpit door as he flew the ship, taking in every single detail of his actions as she stood solid on her feet, even as the Bullhead surged through the air and maneuvered into the storm towards the target. As Kinto then jammed his guantlet into the ship, she furrowed her brow, her faceless visage glancing at him. She takes mental note of this, but doesn’t say anything as she doesn’t want to be seen as suspicious for prying.

“Very well.“ She chuckled with amusement. Boreas really was something else. The guy could be very efficient when concentrated on his work, proving his confident attitude not only just a facade it seems. As if Ahia needed anymore reassurence to the atlesian's capabilities, it sort of reminded him of a certain someone. Having pondered enough as she watched Kinto fly to the airship, she closes the side door momentarily as the Bullhead, controlled by the AI, flies to the underbelly of the ship as instructed. There the side door opens again, the wind bellowing through her raven hair.

With acrobatics that would put an athlete to shame she grabbed hold of the door frame with her claw and flipped herself onto the roof of the Bullhead, her boots making sure she isn’t blown off as the Guide steered her closer to the hatch. The Ashura Claw ignites with the power of fire dust as she then cut in between the hatch and the frame to destroy the lock.

“Guide, was it? A little closer.“ she demanded with her distorted voice and the Guide obliged wordlessly, apparently only talkative to Kinto, at least she assumed. She pulled open the hatch and jumped in, pulling the hatch closed and crumpling it together with the hull so it doesn’t open again. With that she was inside the ventilation shafts and could already hear a guard walk past somewhere nearby. She crawled through the vents towards her position.

The guide obliged Orochi's command wordlessly, or at least she heard no reply, could be the wind going 10 miles an hour around her, regardless the craft flew away as commanded by Kinto, hovering nearby in the clouds should the two need extraction.

Kinto landed atop the cockpit of the craft with a soft thud, using the jetpack built into his suit to soften the impact to be much harder to notice, then pulling out his sword and enabling the dust enhanced edge to easily cut through the ventilation grid, with one two quick slashes he was through and tore open the hatch he made, dropping into the cockpit to the shock of both pilots.
One of the men tried to pull a gun on him as the other reached for the emergency button, but before either could do what they were about to do Kinto pistol whipped the man reaching for the emergency button sending his head crashing into the controls where he laid unconscious before shooting a tranquilizer dart into the neck of the other, the man lost his grip on his gun, which Kinto caught midair before the man himself dropped forward, who Kinto also caught, propping him up to prevent him from falling of his seat and making any loud noises.

He brought both men together, back to back, before tying them both up with some steel wire, including gags made from their own uniform and then just for safety jabbed another tranquilizer dart into the neck of the one not shot yet, this would keep them quiet for some time and Kinto could simply leave them here.

Then, he turned to the console, he grabbed a fire dust crystal and jammed it into the emergency console, slowly but surely melting the thing into useless sludge, as he then typed away at the communications relay, there was an easy access point here, Kinto was lucky that one of the old security keys he knew still worked allowing him access into the system, which to make sure the ship was utterly lost to the outside world, promptly changed the password to a 20 letter riddle, unless the crew had a hidden genius in the field of theoretical math the communication would be locked to them.

Kinto, then left the cockpit, sealing the door by taking out a one of the wires from the console used to operate the heavy steel door, to then proceed to the command center to meet up with Orochi and fully claim the ship.
