Serenity was nervous. Not to meet Len again -she knew she was already in trouble in regard to him- but because she was having a wardrobe crisis. The issue wasn't that she couldn't decide what to wear; she had known that since the day she met him. The issue was that she was second guessing herself. She stared in the mirror, at the surprisingly comfortable burlap wrap she had acquired the day before as her thoughts raced. What if he was kidding? What if he thought I was joking and didn't intend to follow through? Why didn't I ask for his contact info... or at least put in an effort to find him on campus? Sera had approximately an hour to get to the docks, and finally decided to keep the dress. However, she snagged her weapons belt and a larger pouch than usual and stuffed a change of clothes... just in case.
She made it to the dock with plenty of time to spare, and located a very inconspicuous observation point, hoping against hope she would spot Len first to save herself from the potential humiliation. She studiously ignored the stares of the passerby who actually noticed her when they walked by, and continued to scan the crowd for \Her\ The Tree.

Lennie was supposed to be nervous. He was on his way to have a date with a very pretty girl who made him laugh, and he was wearing a hastily-constructed outfit made of burlap. People were going to be staring at them wherever they went, and he should be nervous about that. For some reason, though, he wasn't, and not being nervous was weird. He reached the docks just early enough to not be late and looked around to find his date.
Ah, there she was, off to one side and away from the bustle of the main station floor. With bright eyes, he gave her a little wave and made his way over.
"Good Evening, Ŕeni," he greeted her as he got close, offering her a one-armed hug. "Ŕeady to go?"

Sera was not looking in Len's direction when he began his approach, as such, she was startled out of her scales when he spoke. Wide-eyed, she recovered enough to return his embrace as her face colored in embarrassment. "Len! Good evening! I'm more than ready to start today's adventure." She said, trying to act like she had not, in fact, been surprised. Stepping back from the hug, Sera observed Len's outfit and giggled and chose to be transparent "I was a little worried you were just joking, honestly. I don't know what I'd have done if you had showed up in anything else..." She paused and looked anywhere but up at his face before muttering "...You still look nice though."
